POLICIES 

To provide the best possible service and ensure the smooth operation of our salon, Rapunzel Rapunzel has established the following policies. These guidelines prioritize your safety and satisfaction while enhancing your overall experience. Please take a moment to review our policies regarding service satisfaction, bringing children to appointments, and other important details.

BOOKING POLICY

Deposit Requirement:

​

  • A $100 deposit is required to secure all bookings. For services priced at $100 or less, full payment will be required at the time of booking.

  • All deposits are non-refundable, except in the unlikely event that Rapunzel Rapunzel needs to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

  • Changes to your appointment, including cancellations, rescheduling, or changing to a lesser value appointment must be made at least 72 hours before your scheduled time.

  • If you cancel or reschedule your appointment within 72 hours of your booking, your deposit will be forfeited.

  • Changes made with more than 72 hours notice will allow the deposit to be transferred to your new appointment date.​

  • If you do not attend your appointment without prior notice, you will be charged 100% of the total service cost. This charge must be paid in full before making any future bookings.

Payment Methods:

  • Deposits can be made via credit card, debit card, or cash in person. For bookings made online, the deposit must be paid at the time of booking to secure the appointment.

  • If appointments are made over the phone a confirmation email will be sent requesting a deposit payment immediately after the appointment is made.

  • If you do not wish to use your creidt or debit card online to pay your deposit, you must make your appointment in the salon and provide a cash deposit.

CHILDREN AT APPOINTMENTS POLICY

At Rapunzel Rapunzel, the safety and well-being of our clients and staff are our top priorities. To ensure a safe environment, we have established the following policy regarding children accompanying parents or guardians to appointments:

  • Due to Queensland Workplace Health and Safety regulations, we do not permit children to attend appointments unless they are infants in a pram. Our salon utalizes various products, including potentially hazardous chemicals, sharp tools, and hot equipment, which can pose safety risks to young children.

  • Once a child is mobile, the salon environment can become unsafe. Young children running around may inadvertently put themselves in danger near equipment and products, and it can be challenging to maintain a safe space in a busy salon.

  • As specialists in blonde services, our appointments can at times exceed 5-6 hours. We understand that children may become bored during extended periods, which could lead to restlessness and further safety concerns.

  • We encourage clients to make alternative arrangements for childcare during their appointments. This allows you to fully relax and enjoy your service while ensuring a safe environment for everyone.

SERVICE SATISFACTION POLICY

At Rapunzel Rapunzel, we strive to provide the highest quality of service to all our clients. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we aim to address any concerns promptly and professionally. Below is our policy regarding dissatisfaction with services:

  • If you are dissatisfied with your service, please notify us within 7 days of your appointment. This allows us the opportunity to address your concerns effectively. We will be happy to schedule a follow-up appointment to assess any issues and make any necessary adjustments.

  • We do not offer refunds for services rendered. Our focus is on ensuring that you are satisfied with the outcome of your appointment. If adjustments are needed, we will work with you to achieve the desired results during the follow-up appointment.

  • Please note that we do not provide refunds or redo services due to a change of mind. This policy applies to all services and treatments provided at our salon.

  • We do not accept returns or provide refunds for products purchased at our salon due to a change of mind. All products are thoroughly tested for quality and effectiveness before being offered for sale.
